In the United States, the first of April is the day to fool your best friend or to play a trick on your office  partners. There is a long history of spectacular pranks associated with this day, but this year’s most outstanding prank will last somewhat longer. We are estimating that the next few weeks will turn out to the be an impressive economic misdirection play as the whole world of markets finds its courage and moves higher only to find out that the hoped-for recovery is nothing but a mirage.
