Nuni Launches Xena Capital

Jordan Nuni, previously an analyst and original member of the investment team at Birch Grove Capital, has launched his own fund Xena Capital, THFJ has learned.

Xena was formed back in January but officially launched on February 1st in New York City. Xena Capital is a multi-strategy cross-asset alternative investment manager running a hybrid long/short equity, convertible arbitrage, capital structure arbitrage and long/short credit strategy with a global geographic focus. This multi-strategy specialization in both equity and credit enables Xena to seek to provide its clients with attractive returns that are generally uncorrelated to most traditional investment strategies.

Xena Capital’s trade construction is a systematic approach that identifies market inefficiencies through a combination of fundamental models and tactical market-based tools with top-down common sense driven investment views.

***A previous version of this article incorrectly referred to Xena Capital as a spin-out fund of Birch Grove Capital.
