Brian McMahon has been appointed as BNY Mellon’s senior alternative industry facing executive in Luxembourg. McMahon was previously managing director and business development executive for the company.
McMahon has particular expertise in private equity and real estate and will also be developing business and relationships for EMEA in PE/RE. McMahon previously held roles at Citi and State Street in investment services.
BNY Mellon has also promoted Valeria Anderson to senior salesperson, vice president in the company’s London based alternative investment services (AIS) business development team. She will be focusing on developing the company’s business with fund of hedge funds, managed account and UCITS platforms and expanding the company’s business in France.
Anderson has 14 years of experience in financial services, six years of which with BNY Mellon, first in the Paris office and most recently as a relationship manager for AIS in London.
Both Anderson and McMahon report to Marina Lewin, Global Head of Business Development for AIS.
