MKP Capital Management, LLC (MKP), an alternative asset manager, has hired Anthony Simpson as a Managing Director to focus on European Marketing.
Simpson will be responsible for further developing MKP’s global investor base from the firm’s London office. He will work with partners Anoop Dhakad and Katherine Plavan, who lead MKP’s client development and investor relations efforts.
Simpson has over 30 years of experience in the industry, including senior roles at Financial Risk Management FoHF, Ramius UK Ltd, Goldman Sachs and Merill Lynch.
MKP opened its London office in May 2011. Last month, the firm also announced plans to establish a European credit team there in 2012.
Simpson will be responsible for further developing MKP’s global investor base from the firm’s London office. He will work with partners Anoop Dhakad and Katherine Plavan, who lead MKP’s client development and investor relations efforts.
