Newedge, a global leader in multi-asset brokerage and clearing, has posted the monthly performance data for its suite of Hedge Fund Indices.
The Newedge CTA Index’s top performers for October included Quantitative Investment Management (global) with an estimated increase of 2.68%, Ortus Capital Management (currency) estimated up 2.68% and Graham Capital Management up by an estimated 0.27%.
Newedge’s CTA Index was overall down by 3.72% for October bringing YTD performance down 5.09%. An increase in Newedge’s commodity trading index of 1.51% brought YTD performance to -3.36%, with increases in both trading and equity in October.
