Sciens Fund of Funds Management Holdings has appointed Alex Allen as senior portfolio manager in Sciens’ Fund of Hedge Funds business.
Allen will be based in the London office and will report to Stavros Siokos, president of the Sciens Fund of Hedge Funds and managed account platform businesses.
Allen joins Sciens from Eddington Capital Management Limited where he was a co-founder and Chief Investment Officer. Prior to Eddington, Allen was the Portfolio Manager for hedge funds at EFG Asset Management Limited between 1999 and 2003. He has extensive experience in using separately managed accounts within fund of hedge funds and has managed both single-strategy and multi-strategy fund of hedge fund portfolios over the past 13 years.
