31 Oct 2011
Iveagh Private Investment House (“Iveagh”), the Guinness family office and asset management boutique, has appointed Caren Oxford to the newly created role of head of marketing.

Oxford will be responsible for driving the marketing and communications strategy for the asset management business with a particular focus on the Iveagh Wealth Fund (launched in 2008) and the Iveagh Core Portfolios which were launched in February 2011.

Chris Wyllie, Iveagh partner and chief investment officer said: “This is an exciting time for Iveagh and Caren’s appointment reflects our ambitious plans for the future. Having an experienced marketing professional is crucial to the next stage of Iveagh’s development as an investment house. We have made significant investment in new staff recently, having hired William Beverley as head of macroeconomic research in August, and Caren is another excellent addition – I look forward to the contribution she will make to the development of the business.”

Oxford joins Iveagh from Skandia Investment Group where she was responsible for UK distribution channel marketing. Her 17 years of marketing experience in the financial services sector also includes designing and implementing marketing communications programs for Insight Investment and technical and product management marketing for NPI/AMP.

Oxford said: “Iveagh has a first class reputation and a unique investment offering so I was very excited to be offered the role here. I am especially looking forward to raising awareness of a suite of excellent products that have served investors extremely well, especially during the turbulent markets of the last few weeks.”
