HSBC Securities Services (HSS) has named Glenn Kennedy as the regional head of sales and relationship management, alternatives sector for the client management group in Asia Pacific. HSS is a global market leader in the provision of fund administration, custody and related securities services across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas.
Based in Hong Kong, Kennedy will be responsible for driving the development of both new and existing client relationships throughout the region with specific responsibility for hedge funds and private equity clients. This sector focus is supported by the recent creation of a global client management group that will help the HSS business customise delivery based on the requirements of different client segments.
Kennedy joins HSS from Citi Fund Services (Asia), Limited where he was a director for 4 years. He has in-depth experience of hedge funds having acted as a non-executive director to a number of funds all over the world, and is a member of the AIMA Hong Kong Regulatory Committee.
