HF Fund Services has opened a Dublin office to provide independent fund directorship and corporate governance services for European regulated funds. These include UCITS funds, Irish QIFs and Luxembourg SIFs.
The move is in response to increased investor and regulatory demands for transparency and liquidity, and strong oversight. This has meant that fund promoters need to rely on experienced and expert independent fund directors.
Additional services which are also provided from the Dublin office include: product development support; project management of fund establishment in collaboration with legal counsel; review and selection of service providers; UCITS oversight and compliance services and anti money laundering reporting officer services.
HF Fund Services in Europe is led by John Hamrock, who has extensive international experience in traditional and alternative funds and serves as a director for a range of regulated investment funds. Previously, he worked as a regulatory consultant where he focused primarily on assisting asset management firms in UCITS compliance, corporate governance, and developing cross-border fund distribution strategies.
Hamrock was previously based in Brussels where he managed the European Fund Distribution team of State Street Global Advisors and developed their Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) business. Formerly, he founded and built Federated Investors' UCITS business in Europe.
HF Fund Services also has offices in Cayman and Singapore.
