F&C appoint new Group Head of Marketing

F&C Investments, the London-listed £108 billion asset management group, announces that it is has recruited Tracy Fennell as Group Head of Marketing. Tracy is set to join F&C in the autumn from Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) where she is currently Head of Marketing. At F&C she will report to Charlie Porter, Head of Funds and Investment Trusts, and will be responsible for marketing activity across all areas of the group including the institutional business, funds and investment trusts and corporate brand building.

Tracy has over 15-years’ experience working in the asset management industry encompassing retail, institutional, investment trust and corporate marketing. Prior to SWIP Tracy was Head of Marketing for the UK, Nordics, Middle East and Australia at AXA Investment Managers and she has also worked in marketing roles at Newton Investment Management and Friends Ivory & Sime.

At F&C Tracy will lead the central marketing function and have responsibility for developing and implementing marketing strategies across the group, which includes Thames River and F&C REIT. Her remit will include marketing communications, product support, advertising, new media, campaigns and event management. Tracy’s initial priorities will include a comprehensive brand audit and a project to enhance the group’s online presence.
