Pictet Asset Management (PAM), the institutional asset management business of the Swiss private bank Pictet & Cie, has announced the appointment of Fawzy Salarbux as Senior Consultant Relations Manager.
Based in London, he will be working with key consultants globally. Salarbux reports to Simon Males, Head of Global Consultants, and Chief Marketing Officer for the UK & Ireland.
Salarbux joins from Mercer, the global consultancy, where he was a Senior Associate. As the lead consultant for a number of corporate and local government pension fund clients, he provided investment advice (for both DB and DC schemes) on the full range of investment services. He was previously an investment consultant at AonHewitt.
Simon Males comments, “Fawzy’s appointment represents a significant reinforcement of our consultant expertise. He has long experience of the issues faced by trustee boards, plan sponsors and their advisers. He will have an important role at Pictet Asset Management ensuring that our specialist investment management capabilities meet the needs of pension funds.”
