Matheson Ormsby Prentice, Ireland’s largest law firm, has announced the expansion of its London and New York offices.
John Ryan is re-locating to the firm’s New York office during July 2011. Ryan has more than 20 years’ experience advising international companies doing business in and through Ireland. He will be joined by Alan Keating, senior associate in the firm’s Tax and Structured Finance and Derivatives Groups and Aiden Kelly, senior associate in the firm’s Asset Management and Investment Funds Group. Keating and Kelly will focus on advising international companies and financial institutions doing business in and through Ireland.
Matheson Ormsby Prentice opened its first office in the US fifteen years ago in Palo Alto, California and is the only Irish law firm with a presence on both the East and West Coasts of the US. The expansion of our New York office makes us the largest Irish law firm in the US.
Stanley Watson relocated to the firm’s London office in April 2011. Watson has more than 20 years’ experience advising domestic and international companies and led the firm’s corporate and commercial practice for eight years. He is especially recognised for his UK/Ireland cross-border expertise and is counsel of choice for many private equity houses doing business in Ireland. Watson leads a team of corporate, banking and financial services lawyers based in the firm’s London office, which focuses on advising international companies, financial institutions and private equity houses doing business in and through Ireland.
