Mulvaney Capital Management has announced the appointment of Dudley Fishburn as Non-Executive Chairman.
Fishburn has broad experience in corporate governance across the world. He served on the Board of HSBC Bank plc from 2002 to 2009 and is currently a director of Philip Morris International Inc. He also has served on the Board of Overseers of Harvard University and was a Member of Parliament for Kensington from 1988 to 1997. Previously he had been Executive Editor of The Economist for nine years.
Given a longstanding interest in higher education, he chairs the Visiting Committee to the Cambridge University Library and is on the Council of the University of Reading and the International Advisory Board of the Centre for the Advanced Study of India at the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently Chairman of Henderson’s Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc and of a private IT company, Bluecube Technology Ltd.
