F&C has appointed Andy Penman as an Analyst in the Global Thematic Equities Team. He joined the company on 13 April 2011 and reports to Sophie Horsfall, Head of Global Thematic Equities.
Penman has joined from Barclays Wealth where he ran US Equity model portfolios in addition to being the global banks analyst. He started his career with US private bank, Brown Brothers Harriman & Co in 1991. Two years later, Penman moved to Lloyds Investment Managers (Hill Samuel AM) as a portfolio manager specialising in North American equities. Penman has additionally worked at two major Australian banks and a private client stockbroker.
