Unigestion has announced a further addition to its senior management team with the appointment of Tom Leavitt to a new role of Managing Director, Head of Institutional Clients. He will also be a member of Unigestion’s Executive Committee.
Leavitt was most recently at Fortis Investments where he was Global Head of Institutional Clients and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Prior to Fortis Investments, he was Chief Executive Officer at ABN AMRO Asset Management (North America). He brings close to 30 years of business development experience to Unigestion.
Based in Geneva, Leavitt will build and lead Unigestion’s global business development efforts, bringing together professionals from the company’s Minimum Variance Equities, Fund of Hedge Funds and Private Equity Fund of Funds activities. He will be responsible for developing and expanding Unigestion’s client base by leveraging its strong position within the investment community, further raising awareness of the quality and breadth of Unigestion’s products.
