Simmons & Simmons adds Head of Financial Institutions

International law firm Simmons & Simmons has appointed capital markets partner Jonathan Hammond as its new Head of Financial Institutions.

Hammond joined the firm in 1994, becoming a partner in 2001. He worked in the firm’s Hong Kong office from 1996 to 2000, and has held a number of management roles, including his current role on the firm’s board.

The role is currently held by Jeremy Hoyland, who will become Managing Partner of the firm on 1 May.
