RBC is continuing to execute on its aggressive international growth plans by appointing Barend Janssens as the head of Wealth Management Emerging Markets.
Based in Singapore, Janssens will be responsible for growing RBC’s Wealth Management Emerging Markets individual client-facing teams in Asia, EMEA and Latin America, rapidly accelerating the acquisition of new high net worth clients from these regions, and growing existing client relationships leveraging the capabilities within his team and those across the global RBC Wealth Management and RBC Capital Markets businesses.
Janssens has extensive senior leadership experience in wholesale and private banking in a career spanning 22 years with ABN AMRO Bank. He has recruited and built teams and business across Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
