Lyxor launches two new ETFs

26 Jan 2011
Lyxor Asset Management has expanded its fixed income range with two new ETFs listed on the London Stock Exchange and NYSE Euronext Paris.

As investors increasingly search for yield in a low interest rate environment the new funds will offer efficient access to typically difficult to trade segments of the fixed income market. These new ETFs provide clients with the benefits of on exchange liquidity, pricing transparency and above average yields.

The new funds track the Markit iBoxx EUR Liquid High Yield 30 and the Markit iBoxx USD Liquid Emerging Markets Sovereigns indices and provide access to liquid EUR denominated corporate sub-investment grade bonds and liquid USD denominated emerging government debt. The High Yield ETF has a Total Expense Ratio of 0.45% p.a. whilst the Emerging Market Sovereign Bond ETF has a TER of 0.30% p,a.

In the case of the Lyxor ETF iBoxx € Liquid High Yield 30 fund and the Lyxor ETF iBOXX $ Liquid Emerging Markets Sovereigns fund, Knight Capital Europe will be a dedicated liquidity provider at the funds’ launch.
