Olivetree Securities, the UK based equities broker, has announced the appointment of Jim Milligan as a Global Natural Resources strategist to its Sector Strategy Group. He will focus on listed companies within the natural resources sector and will report into Emmanuel Bousquet, Head of Sector Strategy Group, Olivetree.

Milligan has over 15 years’ experience in investing in global equities and has been managing global natural resources equity portfolios since 2005. He joins Olivetree from BlueCrest Capital Management where he was the global natural resources equity portfolio manager and trader on the company’s commodities desk. Milligan also worked as the global emerging markets equity strategist/economist at JP Morgan Investment Management in New York. He started his career as an equity analyst with Framlington, which is now part of AXA Investment Managers Group.
