Hassium Asset Management has announced the appointment of Charles Macfarlane to the new position of Partner with responsibility for Business Development in the UK. Macfarlane has over 25 years of experience working with ultra-high net worth families and their advisors. Most recently he was a Partner and Member of the Executive Committee at Cheviot Asset Management. Prior to joining Cheviot, Macfarlane spent ten years as head of Business Development at Fleming Private Asset Management. He was also a former Director and shareholder of Tru-Est, a media company focusing on the information needs of wealthy families.
