Vontobel adds Head of UK Institutional Business

Vontobel Asset Management, a global investment manager and subsidiary of The Vontobel Group with over $39 billion of assets under management, has announced the appointment of Andrew Raisman as Executive Director, Head of UK/Ireland Institutional Business.

Raisman was previously at Hermes Fund Managers where he was responsible for UK institutional business development and consultant relations. He has more than seventeen years experience working in the asset management industry, specialising in UK institutional sales. Raisman was a Fund Director at Baring Asset Management for UK business development and sales, having started his career at Martin Currie Investment Management as an investment analyst covering Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific equities before becoming an investment manager for its North American team.

Based in London and supported by Vontobel’s teams in Zurich and New York, Raisman will be responsible for developing Vontobel’s presence within the UK investment community and coordinating all UK and Irish institutional and client relations activities, including sales strategies for these markets.
