Citi appoints Senior Advisor for investor services

Citi has announced that Dario Frigerio, ex-CEO of Pioneer Global Asset Management Services, has been appointed by Citi as a Senior Advisor for investor services within its Global Transaction Services business. Frigerio will be based in Italy, and will provide strategic counsel and work to deepen the firm’s client base across Europe, Middle East and Africa in the newly-created role.

Frigerio was Head of the Wealth Management Division of UniCredit Group, and has served at separate times as Chief Investment Officer of Europlus and CreditRolo Gestioni (both are now Pioneer Investments).

Andrew Gelb, Head of Securities and Fund Services for Europe, Middle East and Africa, said, “Dario’s experience and deep connections in the industry will be a great asset to Citi’s investor services business.
