Evi Vogl will become the new CEO of Pioneer Investments KAG with effect from January 01, 2011. She will be responsible for managing Pioneer Investments’ business in Germany. Vogl has more than 20 years of work experience in the financial industry and joins from BNP Paribas Investment Partners where she was a Managing Director and responsible for the German business.

For many years Vogl has been working as an executive in the fund industry. Prior to joining BNP Paribas Investment Partners in 2008, Vogl was a managing director at Baring Asset Management for five years. In this role she was responsible for Sales, Business Development and Client Service in Germany, Luxembourg and Austria.

Dr. John Burns, who acts as interim CEO of Pioneer Investments Germany since July 2010, will resume his position as managing director of Pioneer Investments KAG in January 2011; being in charge of Operations, Risk Management and Legal & Compliance.
