Centaur Fund Services has announced the appointment of Gavan McGuire as its new Head of Business Development.
Established in 2009, Centaur has a growing portfolio of clients ranging from well-established investment fund companies to start up fund managers seeking a higher quality level of service, and, whose investors are now demanding more accountability and transparency from funds.
The firm is building on this growth by appointing McGuire to lead the business development drive from London. McGuire will use his extensive network and knowledge within the alternative investment arena to grow Centaur’s client base and develop new distribution channels for the firm’s Dublin-headquartered servicing office.
McGuire has 13 years of experience in the fund administration business both in the UK and Ireland. He joins Centaur from Citi, where he was Director of Alternative Investment Services Sales and Relationship Management. Prior to this, he held a series of senior roles with Citi Hedge Fund Services (formerly BISYS Hedge Fund Services), his last being Director of Business Development in London. He started his career at International Fund Services in Dublin.
