Samir Essafri has joined Carmignac Gestion as manager of European equities. Essafri will be taking over from David Loggia as co-manager of the Carmignac Grande Europe fund, alongside Jordan Cvetanovski. Essafri was previously an analyst manager within the Axa IM-Framlington Conviction team.
After seven years in the management team, David Loggia is going on sabbatical leave for 6 months. He will return on 2 May 2011. Loggia was co-manager of the Carmignac Grande Europe fund.
