Apex Fund Services has announced the immediate appointment of Thalius Hecksher as Global Head of Business Development.

With responsibility for developing and managing Apex’s global sales and client relationships, Hecksher will report directly to Peter Hughes, Managing Director of Apex Fund Services. Based in Apex's Ireland office Hecksher will provide support to all of Apex's 21 international offices and operations.

Hecksher has over 15 years experience of working within the international financial markets and has particular expertise in the fund management and asset management sectors. Prior to joining Apex, he was head of sales for EMEA at Linedata Services where he specialised in financial software and technology for mutual and hedge fund managers through to third party administrators. Prior to this, Hecksher was sales director at Thomson Financial (now Thomson Reuters).
