Barclays Wealth has announced a senior appointment within its Global Research & Investments team. Mike Haslam joins as the Head of Long-Only Distribution, focusing primarily on the UK & Ireland and International Private Banking (EMEA) businesses.
In this role, Haslam will work with the product origination and investment advisory teams within Global Research & Investments to deliver long-only solutions to its bankers and their clients.
Haslam's background is in the asset manager industry. He joined Barclays Wealth from Gartmore, where he was their investment marketing specialist, and he has held similar roles at M&G and Threadneedle, focusing primarily on their long-only equity and bond products.
