UBS Global Asset Management has announced the appointment of Sion Cole as a Senior Strategist for the Global Investment Solutions team. Based in London, Cole will be responsible for communicating GIS’s capabilities and suite of services available in the UK, such as the Multi-Asset Income Fund, Global Allocation Fund (UK) and currencies. His primary focus will be on our diversified return strategies, positioning it as the optimal return generation source in a liability driven investment solution for pension funds and intermediaries.

Cole will work closely with the distribution teams as well as the global consultant team to foster effective communication and delivery of GIS’s products and advisory offering to the market.

Cole brings with him extensive industry experience, particularly with investment consultants, and has a strong background in investment management. He joins UBS from AONHewitt where he was an investment consultant, responsible for advising pension scheme trustees on a variety of investment related issues, including their long-term investment strategy.
