Gartmore has announced the appointment of Vincent Houtteville as Investment Analyst reporting to Chris Palmer, Head of Global Emerging Markets. Joining from First State Investments, it is anticipated he will join early 2011.

Houtteville brings a wealth of investment experience spanning two decades, most recently spending seven years as Global Financial Services Analyst at First State Investments. Prior to this he held analyst roles at AXA Investment Management, covering European Financials and with Scudder Stevens Clark in New York, specifically focussing on the insurance sector and offering support for the banking team.
