Commenting on the appointment, Fionán Breathnach, Head of Investment Funds at Mason Hayes+Curran, said: “We are delighted to announce Mark’s appointment, which co-incides with recent legislation facilitating the re-domiciling of off-shore funds to Ireland. It is estimated that there are over 200 funds with combined assets of $60bn ready to re-domicile. Mark’s experience of both Irish and off-shore fund structuring will assist in the continued growth of our Investment Funds practice, which has been driven by our commitment to an innovative, responsive and commercial service for our clients”.
