Otkritie adds to investment banking business

Otkritie Financial Corp has announced the appointment of two experienced professionals, marking a significant expansion of the Global Markets and Investment Banking business, and enhancing the client-facing resources in its corporate finance and equity markets segments.

Igor Vine joins as Head of Capital Markets, Equity Group, where he will have responsibility for business development in global markets, as well as strengthening our client offering in corporate finance. Vine was most recently Managing Director and Head of Equities at Renaissance Capital from 2007 to 2010. Previously he held similar positions at Deutsche Bank (2006- 2007) and UFG (1997- 2006).

Ruslan Babaev joins as Deputy Head of Capital Markets, Equity Group, reporting to Igor Vine. Babaev will manage the global sales function covering institutional investors. Babaev was latterly Sales Director covering Russian & CIS clients at Renaissance Capital. Prior to that, he was an Equity Sales Specialist at Goldman Sachs from 2005 to 2007.

Both Vine and Babaev will be based in Moscow.
