The Board of Gartmore Group has announced the appointment of Robert Kyprianou as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from today, 1st September 2010.
Kyprianou was formerly the CEO of AXA Framlington until his retirement in September 2009. Previous appointments include Global Head of Fixed Income, and later Deputy CEO and Global Head of Securities at AXA Investment Managers; Business Head and Global Head of Fixed Income at ABN AMRO Asset Management between 1995 and 1999; and Director and Head of Portfolio Management at Salomon Brothers Asset Management Ltd between 1990 and 1994.
