Boutique investment manager INSYNERGY has announced the appointment of Nicola Large as Commercial Director.

Working closely with CEO and Founder Spike Hughes, Nicola will have lead responsibility for managing the investment manager’s commercial and financial affairs. With some 10 years Financial Services experience, she is well placed to oversee the evolution of the firm’s developing corporate structure and to ensure the highest quality reporting standards.

Nicola joins INSYNERGY from emerging markets focused private equity firm Actis, where she was an Analyst in the investor development group. Focusing primarily on the African private equity and global infrastructure segments of the business, her responsibilities included the analysis of investment and portfolio performance and the development of the investor base. She was formerly with Smith & Williamson Corporate Finance and previously an Auditor with Barnes Roffe LLP.

She joins the Company as it approaches its second anniversary and is excited about her new opportunity. “INSYNERGY is very different from the vast majority of investment firms, and it is a mark of the Company’s progress and the undeniable pedigree of the management team that it has already secured agreements with market leading investment management groups in three key markets – namely GAM (China), Odey (Global) and Reliance (India).
