Aviva Investors has announced the appointment of Carolyn Lu to the role of Managing Director, Business Development, Asia Pacific.
Lu, who will be based in Singapore, has over 25 years experience in the financial services sector. She was most recently Chief Executive Officer and Regional Head of Business – Asia, at Société Générale and has previously held senior roles at Citigroup, Sumitomo Finance, Credit Suisse First Boston, and Discount Corporation of New York - in New York, Hong Kong and London.
Lu will report to Erich Gerth Executive Director, CEO - Global Business Development who is based in the UK and will work on a day-to-day basis with Craig Bingham, CEO Asia Pacific, who is based in Australia.

“Carolyn’s appointment completes our global business development leadership team. Our business development structure is now aligned to target clients that include sovereign wealth and pension funds, financial institutions as well as Aviva, and we are well positioned to work closely with them at both a global and local level.”
