Stone Harbor Investment Partners has announced that Christopher M. Wilder, Daniel Berkery, and Marianne Rossi have joined their investment team.
Christopher M. Wilder, CFA has joined Stone Harbor’s Emerging Markets Debt team, and will be based in the firm’s London office. Wilder joins from Autonomy Capital Group in London where for the past 2 years he managed a fund focused on corporate debt and private equity investments in emerging market countries. Prior to Autonomy, Wilder spent 11 years at Deutsche Bank, where he served as head of the Emerging Markets Corporate Credit Trading and Special Situations group. In his Deutsche role, Wilder managed a multi-billion dollar trading and principal finance business focused on Latin America, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa with trading teams in NY, London, Sao Paulo, and Moscow.
Dan Berkery, CFA has joined the Stone Harbor High Yield team as a credit analyst / portfolio manager, based in New York. Berkery’s credit research will focus on the technology sector, and on the portfolio management side he will focus on global convertible bond opportunities. Berkery joins from UBS O’Connor, where he worked from 2000 until now, and prior to that was a manager of convertibles bonds as part of the equity business at Salomon Brothers Asset Management.
Marianne Rossi, CFA has also joined the Stone Harbor High Yield team as a credit analyst / portfolio manager. Her credit research will focus on industrial companies and her portfolio management responsibilities will be on special situations. Rossi brings many years of industry experience to our team, most recently from FFTW/BNP Paribas Asset Management, where she was responsible for managing US and global high yield funds. Other past experience includes BNY Asset Management, where she acted as CIO for the High Yield product, and UBS Global Asset Management as Head of Global High Yield. She will be based in our New York office.
