Mesirow Advanced Strategies has announced that it has appointed Mark C. Kulpins, managing director, to its Investment Committee.

Previously, Kulpins has held senior investment roles in manager research and portfolio research at Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Inc. Kulpins will focus on manager research and selection as a full voting member of the Investment Committee and will report to Tom Macina, President of Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Inc.

Kulpins has over 13 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Inc. in 2004, Kulpins worked in the equity research department at William Blair & Company and also worked for Brinson Partners, Inc.
