Maples Finance expands business development team

Maples Finance has announced two senior level additions to its business development team.

Kim Waldman has been appointed as Director of Business Development Americas. Waldman will be based in New York and will work from Maples Finance's newly established office at 250 Park Avenue.

Adam Jones joins as Senior Vice President Business Development Europe. Jones will be based in London.

Waldman and Jones will be responsible for expanding the presence and client base of Maples Finance in the Americas and Europe respectively.

Waldman joins Maples Finance from BNP Paribas where she was responsible for launching and expanding their institutional fund administration business in North America. Previously, Waldman has held business development, marketing and sales positions at UBS Global Asset Management and BNY Alternative Investment Services. At Maples Finance she will be responsible for opening the firm’s New York office and continuing to establish Maples Finance’s presence in North and South America.

Jones was previously Director, Global Equity Finance, EMEA for Scotia Capital in London. In that role he was responsible for sales and marketing of prime brokerage services. Prior to Scotia Capital, Jones held positions at Dow Jones, Factiva and Reuters.
