TOBAM, the Paris- based investment manager has announced three new hires including a UK Sales Officer and a Benelux Sales Officer, thus boosting its European distribution capacity.
Elizabeth Breaden, Product Specialist and Client Service, joined TOBAM after several years as a product specialist with Fortis Investments, covering core Euro and US fixed income capabilities (2005-2008) and also in product marketing with AXA Investment Managers in Paris (2008-2009). An American native, Breaden previously managed
institutional money market funds at UBS Global Asset Management and its predecessor firm Brinson Partners in Chicago (1999-2005). She began her career as a Marketing Associate with Harris Investment Management in Chicago (1997-1999). She holds an MBA in Finance from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and a BA from Northwestern University.
Laura Vu Thien, UK Sales Officer, is responsible for TOBAM’s business development in the UK. Prior to joining TOBAM, she worked at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in London as a UK Sales since 2006. Vu Thien previously worked for Société Générale Corporate and Investment Bank in the Derivatives and Solutions group (2004-2005). She graduated from EDHEC Business School in Lille, France, with a Master in Management and specialized in Investment Management and International Financial Management within an MBA Exchange Program at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
Morella Hessels, Benelux Sales Officer, is based in Amsterdam and is responsible for TOBAM’s business development in the Benelux region. Prior to joining TOBAM, Hessels held several positions in relationship management and business development with with Wilshire Private Markets (2002-2005),Goldman Sachs Asset Management (2005-2006) and Northern Trust Global Investments (2006-2008), in Amsterdam and London. Hessels holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the Institute for Economic Studies in Amsterdam.
