J O Hambro Capital Management has announced the appointment of Sandy Black as Investment Director. Black previously served as Head of Equities at Insight Investment, a role he held for five years. Prior to his Insight role he was Head of European Equities at Deutsche Asset Management.

Outgoing Investment Director Vicky Hastings will transition Sandy into his new role and continue to work with the Group for the foreseeable future.
