Simmons & Simmons has advised Baker Steel Resources Trust Limited on its launch and listing on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.

Baker Steel Resources Trust Limited is a Guernsey incorporated investment company which invests in natural resources companies, primarily unlisted, in the mining and minerals sector.

As part of the transaction, Baker Steel Resources Trust also acquired the portfolio assets of an existing offshore investment fund, Genus Capital Fund.

Shares in Baker Steel Resources Trust were placed internationally, including in the United States and Canada.
