Heartwood, the independently owned wealth manager, has appointed Jade Fu and Jaisal Pastakia as Investment Associates in its investment management division. Jade and Jaisal will report to Alan Sippetts, Heartwood’s Head of Research, and will be based in the company’s London office.
Both Jade and Jaisal will work closely with Heartwood’s Investment Directors and their roles will focus on portfolio management and research.
Jade Fu joins from Barclays Capital, where she worked as a product manager in Treasury Sales, advising UK mid-cap institutions and high net worth individuals on investment and risk management solutions. Previously, she worked in Societe Generale’s Cross Asset Structuring team and at Bank of America, where she was an analyst in the Structured Finance team. Jade holds an MSc in Finance from Imperial College Business School and a BSc in Mathematics from Imperial College.
Jaisal Pastakia joins from Dresdner Kleinwort, where he worked as an analyst in the Capital Markets team, involved in the pricing and execution of new bonds. Jaisal holds an MSc in Finance from Imperial College Business School and a first-class honours degree in Mathematics from University College London.
