Mario Frontini joins Sator as Chief Investment Officer

Sator S.p.A. and Sator Capital Limited have announced the appointment of Mario Frontini and Sam Myhrman as Chief Investment Officer and Research Analyst, respectively, of the public equity funds of the Sator Group. Mario has developed an extensive experience in the international asset management industry, having worked for 11 years at Fidelity International in London, initially as an analyst and for the last six years as a portfolio manager in European and Global Equities, where he managed over US$4 billion of assets in European and Italian equities. Over the years, Mario has achieved an excellent track‐record with significant outperformance, and was ranked among the best European fund managers. Sam worked together with Mario at Fidelity International as sector analyst for four years.

Mario and Sam will join the Sator public equity team, working alongside Cesare Colombo, Head of Research, Stefano Giuliani, Giovanni Gennaro and Alberto Poggiano. As of 31 December 2009, Sator Public Equity Value Fund, the Group’s main public equity fund, was up 61.4% for the year and up 16.4% since inception in May 2008.
